Back agian! Charles and Suzanne have come back to the boards. Charles started a new game, TFOM Revisited and I have reopened signups for Bloodstar. We also brought out an old game, The Keep for more rpg fun! Updated Game News and Star Ranks.

Been working with the skins as of late. Thanks to Writey we now have the sidebar images available to match our each of our different skins. Blood Star and Celtic Warrior are both finished. I also switched the default them to Celtic Warrior to better match our forum's theme.

Hey guys, the following is a list of how to use some of proboards features, and the answers to the most frequently asked questions.
How to Modify Text & Use Tags This will teach you how to make text: bold, italic, underlined, strike through, glow, shadowed, moving, or justified right/center/left. It will show you how to change the size, color, and font of your text. And also how to use quotes, code, lists, and sup/sub scripts.
How to Post Pictures & Links This will teach you how find a pic URL and use it to put a pic in a post. And how to post links, including email and image links.
How to Use Proboard Features This will explain Gurl forums policies on the chat room, fame, passwords, and star ratings. It will also teach you how to use bookmarks, the mark as read icon, pm's, skins, and sub-boards.
Understanding Buttons This will explain the use of the buttons in the boards and posts.

How to Modify Text
Tags can help you achieve most of this. These are the buttons located above the smiles. To find out what each one does hover over it with your mouse and it will tell you. Then, just highlight the text you want to modify and click on the button representing what you want to do...and volia! Or you can copy the codes below and remove the space to create the desired effect.
Examples:
Bold Text [ b]TEXT[/b] = Bold
Italic Text [ i]TEXT[/i] = Italic
Underline Text [ u]TEXT[/u] = Underline
Strikethrough Text [ s]TEXT[/s] = Strikethrough
Moving Text [ move]TEXT[/move] =

To Make a list Use the far bottom right hand tag and put the [ *] by each of the subjects.
To Quote Someone Use the quote icon by the thread topic, and then delete the text you do not want quoted between the [ ].

How to Post Pics and Links
To get the URL of an image right click on it and select properties. Then copy the whole Address or URL (There maybe more than one line). Then paste the url between the brackets without spaces...and volia! The only acceptable picture formats are: .jpg / .jpeg / .gif / .png

How to Use Proboards Features
Avatars
Chat Room We have our very own chatroom here at The Fall of Man. However it is not open to just anyone. Only members may access the chatroom at anytime by clicking on the link "Live Chat" on the main page. Guests are only allowed to join in at the scheduled chat times.
Kudos There are two options under kudos in yours and other member's mini-profiles, Give and Take. These are represented by a thumbs up and down sign. Basically what it is a member rating system. When you someone you are praising them, thus adding one point to their karma. When you them you are rating them poorly and it takes away one point from their kudos. Currently this feature is not active.
Forum Jump This is the little white menu located at the bottom right hand corner of every board. This handy feature lets you "jump" to any other board without going to the main page to access it.
Mood You can select or change the mood you are in by visiting your profile. From there hit modify profile and then click on the drop down menu under mood. The emotion will then be displayed in your main and mini profile.
Personal Messages Personal messages can be sent to any member in the forum. These cannot be viewed by anyone but who you send them to. To send a personal message click on the pm button in the member's mini profile, or the Send Personal Message link in their bio. To check your personal messages you can click on the link in the info center, or located under the menu buttons is a pm bar. This will flash and let you know whenever you have new messages.
Skins A skin is simply a theme. Each theme has a different background, icons, etc. To access the different skins for the forum, go to profile, then click modify profile, then scroll down till you see a drop down menu entitled Select Skin which lists all the skins we have for the forum. Select the skin you want then press modify profile, and viola! Currently we only have 1 skin.
Star Rating You can increase your star rating by simply being an active member. The system is based on post count. However it is not acceptable to post spam, or just smiles in your threads to increase your post count. Double posts do not count either, so make sure to use the "modify" button and not your browsers back button. Members with over a thousand posts can have a custom name.
Sub-Boards Sub-boards are boards located inside of other boards, when you click the link to inside of one of the boards off the main page, you may see another board above the threads. This is a sub-board and it works the same way as the other boards. And is mainly utilized for organization purposes.

Understanding Buttons
The following is a list of the buttons found on the board and in the threads. Hopefully, this will explain their purpose and provide you with a better understanding of how to use the forum.
You will only need to use this button if you are a staff member.
& The "Bookmark" button is located at the top of each post. This feature saves the page you selected so you can access it later. To see bookmarks you've created, go to your profile and select the link next to Modify Profile. When you click on a topic it will take you to the post. If you want to delete a bookmark, once you are there, click the "Remove Bookmark" button, and it will remove it from your list.
Tired of seeing all those NEW icons? If you are done "reading a board" and only want to be notified of upcoming changes, you can click on this icon inside each board. One is also located at the bottom of all the boards on the main page. This will mark the whole forum as read.
This feature is self explanatory. This button takes you to a print friendly page. However, to actually print a copy of the page you will have to use your web browsers features.
Again, self explanatory. Click this symbol on the upper left hand corner to search the board or topic you are in. There is also a bigger site search located on the menu.
This little icon lets you send the topic you are reading about to a buddy via email. A new screen will pop up that will let you enter the information and a personal message!
